Late starter

Recently I've become extremely obsessed with Gilmore Girls.  Yes yes I know it's incredibly old but in my younger days I hardly watched TV and I went against the trends and generally did the oposite of what everyone else did.  Yeah I am weird and I still am but I like me and I dont go so against everything any more since I've kind of almost find my niche =)

Anyway time line aside, how gorgeous is Alexis Bledel!  And dont you just wish you had a Gilmore life style!  The outfits in the show are amazing, I'm really not one for fashion (as you may have guessed from my blog) but I some how know what to wear when and what works and all things like that that I thought I'd never be able to do but I actually can and quite well.  Yes ok this is just my opinion, but when you do a degree in physics the girls are the same as me, as in they have no sense of style what so ever, I look at them and go what were you thinking I wouldn't wear that to play dress up!!  Ha!  There are some that can dress impeccably everyday and I am jealous of them, but in general that's not the case.  Dont get me wrong I really like all the girls from the physics department they are a lovely bunch, they just spend too much time pondering the workings of the universe to really care how they look :)  They almost all have 1up on me in that I never wear make up (feel free to make a face or whatever you wish at this)  I just dont know how and dont see much point.  I look after my hair well and when it's required I can dress impeccably but makeup? :s  Any comments on this are appreciated I'd actually like peoples opinions? :)

I really do wish I'd found the show earlier in my life, but it's definately found it's place in my life right now :)

This has turned into a rather girly post, it's the side of me I hide the most and it's fighting it's way out =)  I think it's time to embrace it a little more, it wont mean changing anything about myself it'll just mean letting that part of me be expressed more :)  It definately wont mean liking and wearing pink, pink is a colour I'll never got on with!

This is something I'd never do! Poor pony :( ha!

Some how I doubt my post will change all that much, perhaps the odd girlier post here and there nothing more.

Have a wonderful monday =)

Definitely not a pink girl myself. Embrace your girly side, though, and I will live vicariously through you!

Gilmore Girls is just my favourite tv show ever - Alexis Bledel is so beautiful, I want her skin. I love wearing makeup - I think it is nice to experiment. I very rarely leave the house with no makeup on thought, which I guess it kind of bad really x

If you and your BF like you with no makeup, no one else should be making a face about it. Except...knowing how to apply it properly can come in handy for special events--other people's weddings, job interviews, your wedding, etc.

But day in and day out the important thing is being happy with the face you wake up with in the morning--and the one you wake up looking at!
