The post that wasn't meant to be
I am so tired I've lost all my inspiration to blog :( I have so much to sort out and so much to get done that I just cant seem to concentrate on anything or sleep :( I wanted to get at least two good posts written today so that I could have them scheduled and then I could write more on sat for next week. I kind of like this routine of blogging I've gotten into, though I do m iss being to just post when I want to. It is making me write things down more, helps to clarify my thoughts too which is definately a good thing =)
So I'm having a very rough time of things at the moment. I'd rather not go into it at all on here since it's very personal, but hopefully things will return to some kind of order shortly :)
On a good note I went to scibar and thought I'd hardly know anyone turns out I was totally wrong! =) I actually got asked by two people if I was going and there ended up being a group of 6 of us :) It was a nice surprise and totally made my day! The talk was on nanotech and it drew in a rather strange crowd, as in there were a lot of people there that I'd not seen before, these things generally have a usual regular crowd with a few added extras each time, but this time there were a lot of them and all I can say is we scientists really dont make the best looking bunch ha! There were a few guys with dreds and long hair though which is always a plus :) And it was like 8 women and 20 men! The usual ratio for physics at least.
The talk wasn't the most interesting but the guy giving it did blow bubbles which is always fun :) Actually I think that was the most interesting part too. It's a good thing to go to though, you listen to these highly intellectual discussions about things that you dont really understand and then sometimes you're just totally lost and then everyone laughs and you feel like putting your head in your hands as you're associated with them and what they laughed at was a huge in science joke that you actually got, which makes it even worse! But I've come to accept that it's part of who I am and I embrace it :)

Oh look it seems I've written a post thank you brain =) Time for a nap I think, hopefully I'll feel refreshed and then I can think a little clearer.
Happy wednesday =)

Haha, it's okay to laugh at inside jokes the rest of us probably won't get. Never pass up a chance to laugh!
I hope things work out for you and you begin to feel more positive soon :) xxx
