Happy Hanukkah
Last night was amazingly fun =) So much better than I could ever have imagined. Got lots and lots of time to catch up with my friend. Had lots and lots of tastey food and drank a whole bottle of wine which I felt this morning ha!
HA! That's me in the middle with my guessing face on and my new necklace is showing through =)
We ended up eating then everyone was so full we had to wait like at least an hour before pudding, everyone seemed to bring something. For mains we had falafel and humous, Israeli salad, chips, pasta salad and pitta bread was delicious =) Then we played cranium which I was really wary about is it required me to draw, describe people, make things out of play dough and things but everyone got into it and it was alot of fun. We lost but I didn't mind at all as we had fun =) At one point I had to make holy cow out of play dough and draw french dressing!!!!!! It wasn't as bad as some like one of them was show footspa in play dough. Basically you get into teams and one person does something and the others have to guess what it is. It's a board game with more complicated charades :)
This was me trying to draw french dressing
We had a choice of chocolate fondue, flapjacks, donuts, lemon drizzle cake and apple crumble we physicists sure know how to cook =) It was a Hanukkah party so Happy Hanukkah to all those who celebrate it :) All of the people there were physicist as in they're studying physics at uni it was incredibly fun =)
mmmmmmmm fondue :)
One part of the game was to have one person be a pupet and the other a pupet master, so the pupet and the other members of the time have to guess what it is (one of them was flamenco dancing!) this was hilarious to watch and thankfully our team didn't have to do that one :) Another one was to draw with your eyes closed and my friend on my team was amazing at this! She drew a bike and a tulip with her eyes closed and they resembled what they were meant to be really well!!!! I was so impressed :)
determined to get a donut =)
At the end of the night we were colouring in Hanukkah pictures! So we started the night off as sophisticated adults and ended it as small children =) Here's my coloured in dradle
