Twenty three

Today is my birthday the day I turn 23!  It's scary how fast things are going at the moment.  It's scary growing up and having all these responsibilities!  At the moment I'm buried in paper work and job applications which doesn't make for the most fun of birthdays but I shall make it up tomorrow with drinks at one of my favourite places with lots of my favourite people :)

Today is also the staff bake off in the science department and it's my turn so I have baked brownies nom!  I spent all last night making three batches of brownies the bf wanted to take some in to his work too, well my brownies are good :)  I shall find out later the verdict as to whether I won the bake off for this week.

Tonight after school I am refusing to do any work!  I shall be enjoying a glass of wine and some tasty food :)  I definitely am getting old as the thought of a nice quiet night in the pub is a million times more appealing than a night in a club full of drunk kids!

Now if I could do anything and be anywhere on my birthday I would definitely be in Amsterdam.  Such a beautiful place and my favourite place :)
