A new beginning

The start of a new year is wonderfully refreshing :)  I do feel I have two new years in essence each year, one being the real start of the year and the other being the start of the school year.

This year has had many ups and downs much like any other.  I think the big things to note that I can remember from the top of my head are:  Finding out I got into uni to do teaching on my birthday!  Spending over 6months mostly playing in the physics department at uni getting kids excited about physics and science.  Starting my teaching course and loving it and meeting lots of like minded people on the course.  Living in my awesome flat :)  Having a white Christmas!  Made it so magical and it couldn't have been more perfect.  Having snow this year even in Liverpool!  Finding out that my first teaching practice school was one of the two school on my list of where I'd love to go, was a bit like a dream come true :)  Getting lots of advice from my stepmum about how to go about starting my own farm!  Being lucky enough to make some best friends whilst on a course forced by the jobcentre, we're still best friends now and they are so wonderful!   Those are the highlights I can think of for now :)

For this year I hope for lots more magical times.  Meeting lots of new people, having lots of adventures to nowhere, eating lots of tasty food at new restaurants, getting a job! not being a poor student any more and lots of other things that are all grown up and the like.  You never know by the end of this year I could have become the crazy animal lady (there will be cats but I also want dogs and lots of other lovely pets)  We shall have to wait and see :)

My resolutions this year are to be happy and enjoy every moment no matter what it may be =)
