 I wrote this after finding out one of my best friends is having a baby!  He's like my brother!

Disbelief

I’m shocked to say the least

Lost for words like never before

I hope this was the right detour

Your path was so great

You don’t have to live up to your estate

You’ll never receive what you truly desire

Why did you light this fire?

Is the boy inside finally gone?

I wait silently for the day you prove me wrong
