New boots

Ok so I was going to do a long rambling post about how awesome my field trip was but I decided that without having any pictures to show this there was no point as you just wouldn't be able to share in my enjoyment.  All you need to know is that I got very very tired had lots and lots of fun and made lots of new friends as everyone bonded and got on really well, alcohol may have helped both the bonding and the tiredness!  But yeah we all had a good laugh and I spent yesterday resting and recovering as I also gained a cold which has thankfully almost gone :)

We found out our schools on the friday which has made everything so much more real!  The school I've got is one of the two that I wanted to be in (we didn't actually get a choice we were just placed where ever) I was so pleased and excited as it means I can walk to work as long as the weather isn't too bad and it's just behind my old uni which means I can hit the pub with my friends who are still at uni on a friday!  =)  The fact that we're meeting our school mentors today and have to be dressed as teachers is very daunting but also really exciting :)

The most exciting thing is my new shoes! =)  I needed something that I could teach in and so they needed to be smart and since I live in my skate shoes I really dont own anything decent enough so I indulged in some Kurt Geiger boots!!! So here are my lovely new boots :)

So comfy and so perfect :)
