A day out round the corner
The other day I ventured out with one of my best friends. I was treating him to a lovely day out as payment for helping me move =) We didn't go very far from where I live but since I live right in the centre of town there is so much on my doorstep!
Firstly we went on the big wheel which I was terrified of since I'm scared of heights and I'd never been on a big wheel before!
The fear really is shown in my face! Though it's a cool pic with the Anglican Cathedral in the background :)

After I'd faced my fear which I was very proud of as we got an amazing view =) we went to the Tate to see the Picasso exhibit. I'd already been once but it's so awe inspiring I actually cant wait to go again =)

After the Tate we went for cocktails and then for food from a buffet. The buffet is amazing it has food from around the world I never know where to start there is so much choice! I eneded up having about four plates of food! We were so full afterwards we could barely make it the five minute walk back to mine ha!
Crazy cool roof garden! This is on my building and it's awesome and I only just noticed it after living there for about three weeks!
It was a wonderful day out and it's so good to explore the culture right on my doorstep and knowing I can just pop home if I feel like it is so awesome =) I guess if I cant go away this year I can make the most of what I have right under my nose!

you live in one park west?! cool! i haven't been on the wheel yet in liverpool either, when it was in liverpool one it looked so rickety and scary in the wind! and it's always windy in liverpool! haha
