Heavy
Usually I'm not not to be into politics, I have voted before. I turned 18 just before the last general election and now it's been 4years! WOW! Cant believe how much time has passed. I had the BBC news on whilst tidying the flat and I got really drawn in! I am definately voting, it's such a crucial time with the recession just behind us the next few years could either make or break the economy and the country do voting for the right leader is essential!
I have already made my mind up after reading lots on each of the party's policies and to be honest I had almost made up my mind before realising the election was so close away and the election campaigns had started. I'm not going to state which it is as my choice is purely personal to me based on what I believe are the best policies. I urge all UK people to go out and find out what about the policies that are to do with the things that you find important. It shouldn't be based on anything other than what you feel is the best way to run the country as that is what it's about!
Sorry for the heavy post! I dont really know where this came from, I definately wouldn't have felt like this a year ago. I've never really paid any attention or had any interest in politics and I'm doubtful I will add many more posts like this, I'm not going to say none since I know what I'm like!
Thought I'd finish this post with a lovely fairy tale image I found here =)

Hi Shibs! its election time here in PI as well but am not voting.....I just dont believe in the sanctity of elections in my country. We've got a very corrupt government you see...and those currently seated will do anything to stay in power....that includes sabotaging our right to suffrage. :(
Don't apologise m'dear,
I think it's great that people of our generation are taking an interest xx
