working hard or hardly working

I cant believe how much work I've now got to do.  I had to 'ad lib' a presentation, granted it was only a practice, but I had no idea I was actually going to be going through that presentation and I hadn't even read any of the notes for it.  It's a presentation written by a few people that's the start of our talk to the kids in schools, I just didn't realise I was going to get thrown in the deep end.  I actually thought I'd stand there with nothing to say and let the guy I'm working with do all the talking but I got a few sentences out.

I feel like I let my lecturer down a little :(  So I'm going to work really hard and make it up.  I now have 9pages of basically a script to learn for tomorrow!!!!!  I have never been good with lines but here goes nothing :)  The guy I'm working with was really helpful too, he's a lot more confident than I am and that comes out so that should help me out.  I'd never even really spoken to the guy before today so it was really strange having to give a presentation with him but it went better than I thought which is always a good start :)

I'm quite nervous now too as our first REAL talk, like actually in a classroom in front of children, is next tuesday possibly.   It's not confirmed by the school yet but we're taking it as a yes so that we're ready. That's soooooooooo scary, but I think the adrenalin will help me through it and once I'm done I think I may collapse in a heap lol  I'm incredibly excited and it's out weighing my nervousness which is a good thing =)

It feels good to do things and not weight around for things to happen.  There's a limit to what you can do when you have little money, things are moving forward which is good =)

Wow study, study! Good luck!

And your comment made me laugh. I'll never hate you because you haven't seen a movie! But I will love you more since you've seen True Romance :)
