Bonfire night
Bonfire night is a UK celebration where we light a bonfire and celebrate the failure of Guy Fawkes' attempt to blow up the houses of parliament. So traditionally we have a big bonfire where we burn a fake Guy Fawkes and have firewords and toffee apples and the like :)
We usually go to sefton park and watch the fireworks display. They didn't have a bonfire last year and it was a musical fireworks display. It was rather strange to be honest as I was expecting a huge fire and after the fire had been going for a while and everyone was being warmed by it we'd enjoy a fireworks display. Too much health and safety these days which really sucks. Tonight though since it's been raining pretty much all day and really heavily I'm opting to stay in the warmth or as far as the balcony to enjoy any fireworks that happen to go off in the area. Plus I dont have any wellies and I dont want to get any of my shoes muddy.
Now to wrap up warm and enjoy the view and my toffee apple my bf bought me =)
