Snow!

Finally we got snow here in Liverpool and I was so pleased and excited! :)  I am also pleased and excited that term is finally over and it's the holidays!  I was drinking from 1pm on friday and I did feel so bad when we were drinking wine in school! Was a lovely fun afternoon of drinking turned into an evening with friends I wasn't expecting to see and then it started snowing! =D

Yesterday the boyfriend woke me up at like 7am so we could go play in the snow.  At first I just wanted to curl up in bed and stay there but the thought of playing in the snow got me up and dressed and out in about 20mins :)  People had already made snowmen and it was actually too cold for the snow to form snowballs so we wandered round town whilst it was quiet looking for places with lots of snow.  So here are my wandering round town at 7am photos :)

The roof garden of my building it looked really cool with the lights under the doughnut seats tis a shame my camera didn't quite catch that.

The park outside where I live

The park is covered in christmasy things like an ice rink and little stalls and this swing ride that I'm yet to go on.  I thought it looked really cool covered in snow with the violet sky :)

The John Lennon memorial :)

The sky was such a beautiful violet colour :)  Had to get a pic of a christmas tree covered in snow!

More prettiness :)

It was really nice seeing birds around since being in the centre of town you only really see seagulls.  We even spotted a little magpie stashing food under a tree :)  It was acting weird and then we realised that it was storing food ha!

The boyfriend had to make a snow angel it's a very pretty one too :)

I am gutted as we did make a snowman in the end when it had warmed up a bit but my camera ran out of battery so I didn't get a photo of it :(  It was a cute snow man and I had fun making it was I hadn't made a snowman in such a long time!  It's just so satisfying making these huge snow balls :)

It wasn't too cold but after about an hour of walking round it was time to warm up again with coffee and dry clothes :)

Today I have to venture out into the -9 temp as I need to finish my christmas shopping.  I am upset that it didn't snow again last night but the clear sky is such a beautiful colour :)  It shall be lots of layers for the next week I feel!

I have decided to visit the family over christmas so from monday to monday I shall be travelling round the north of england visiting everyone :)  I am looking forward to it and seeing everyone and getting presents :)

Hope you've had a wonderful weekend :)  Have you got any christmas plans?
