Retail therapy :)

I've had an awesome weekend :)  Went round to a friends friday and saturday night to help her decorate, she had a decorating party!  So alcohol was involved whilst decorating which always makes things more fun.  Thankfully no one fell off the ladder and the decorating was mainly stripping the walls and a little painting and it ended up us all sat round watching one person put smoothover on one of the walls ha!  The same happened again last night too hehehe

Got an email that got me really down this morning so I picked myself up and took myself shopping =)  I actually need an outfit for wednesday as I'm going to an awards thing for one of my lecturers.  Got myself a nice dress and hopefully I'll get my camera working and get a few pics to share :)

The most uplifting thing about today was that I bumped into a friend I'd not seen in such a long time and he lives down in london and I bumped into him in a supermarket in liverpool!  Such a strange world but I love it cos I get down and then when I'm least expecting it I get a lovely kick in the other direction =)

Hope you've had a lovely weekend :)

The decorating party sounds like a lot of fun! I wish we had parties like that too! And I'm glad you're channeling your positive energy, life's too great to let the little hiccups get you down :) xxx
