Happy Paddy's day!

Today is St Patrick’s Day which is an Irish holiday and a day where basically people drink lots!  I usually join in the fun but I’m actually in a school at 9am and I know me if I go for one it wont be one and then I just wont be functional enough tomorrow so instead I’m staying in watching some tv and catching up on some blogs :)  It's a day to celebrate all that is good in the world, the Irish =)  Now I am slightly biased since I'm half Irish, though I think most of my personality comes from that side and my looks are half and half the other half being Polish, but I do think the Irish are awesome and most people love them =)

Today is a very strange day!  People seem to get it into their head that although alcohol is bad for you in large quantities when it’s paddy’s day it’s all good and they can drink and drink and drink!!  On my way to uni today there were already people in the pub with a pint in green starting the celebration!  This was at 10am which is way too early to start drinking, though if I had nothing on tomorrow I’d have probably have been in the pub from 11am!  Yes I know that’s incredibly early but I’ve done it before, not that that’s any justification but as a student 11am start on the drinking after an exam is pretty awesome =)  Just as a note the exam starts at 10 and usually it's a 3hour exam, but with physics they give you so much extra time that there would always be a group of us that left at least on the hour if not before and I never understood how some people stayed for the whole time since I'd finish check my answers and not know what to do and want to leave so I would :)

I hope you have a fun Paddy's day and hopefully I'll become more emersed into the blogging world again after this week!  I've missed out on so much and I've hardly posted it feels weird but I just dont have the time!
