Reading

To I found a slow readers book club and I joined it :)  Reading is on my list so I thought why not read and then share my thoughts about the book with other people.  I've never been in a book club before and I've never been one for words especially when it comes to talking about books or anything for that matter at times :s  but I'm looking forward to joining in =)

If you'd like to join in go to our city lights to find out how =)

Things are very very blah at the moment.  Yes I know that really isn't a descriptive word but it really is the only I can describe things at the moment.  Yesterday I was at one point homeless as of thursday, but the lovely woman at the lettings place helped me out and I'm not homeless any more, well fingers crossed all the references and things get sorted on time!  But yeah the landlord of the place I wanted had raised the rent and I really couldn't afford it, I was pushing my limits with what it was anyway, so I had to say no.  The woman at the lettings place rang a different landlord and he lowered the rent for me after she explained my situation =)  yay for humanity showing it's niceness.  Though you guys out in the blog world definately show me that every day =)

The place is bigger than the last one and I have a bed and a sofa as opposed to a sofabed and there is a slight divide between the living space and the bedroom area.  I do really like it, but there's one thing I really hate about it it has no view!!!  I am so gutted as I'm a sucker for a good view, but beggars cant be choosers!  I'm just never going to open the blinds as it literally is just a back streat in town, but I am going to tell myself that it's my own space for a few months before I get onto a PGCE course and then I'll have a little more money and I'll be able to afford a nicer place.  I'm going to be greatful for what I have, a roof over my head, my own space and it's still close to all the shops in town and the veg stall and the international food store so I can still buy my food ethically without dragging it far =)

Now to get on with packing!!!!  It's crazy how much you accumulate or at least I have in just a few years!

I relate to the things being blah. I hope everything picks up soon <3

Exciting! I'd love to have a proper space of my own, no matter how small! Uni doesn't really count because I have to move my stuff out at the end of each term because college rents it out for conferences...

Hello there:) I joined a book club once, everyone was really lovely albeit a bit too quiet.

A "slow" readers book club? Sounds interesting...

That's good news about the living space--you'll be too busy to look out the window anyway!
